Hand Crafted Pipe Tobacco Tampers

These fine hand crafted Pipe Tampers are a perfect compliment to a hand crafted tobacco pipe!
My tampers are somewhat unique because I use briar for the tamper foot! The briar is heat resistant and will protect the body of the tamper from damage while tamping your favorite tobacco! (the briar will darken with use!)
My tampers are turned out of domestic and exotic woods, some with a variety of materials used for inlay. Each tamper is sanded to a super smooth finish, polished to bring out the natural luster of the wood and finished with a coat of Carnuba Wax.
These tampers are around 4 1/2 to 5 inches in length, and the tamper foot is generally about 7/16 inches in diameter. Lengths will be listed for each tamper!
Tampers come in a velour drawstring pouch!
To ensure the tamper you would like is still available, please email me before purchasing. (Be sure to include which tamper you are interested in!) Even if the exact one is not available, I usually will be able to recreate any of the tamper styles for you. Also, if you like a particular style and would like to see it in one of the other species of woods listed, I can do that as well! Just send an email with your request and I'll get back with you!
