I love these chunky pipe shapes! This one will definitely fill
your hand! Fairly light weight for its size. Tons of character
with the rustication. This one has a slight resemblence to an author shape. A small smooth band adds some contrast and
separation between the bowl and the stem. The stem is pre-formed vulcanite reworked to enhance the smoking
qualities.
The airway has been enlarged and the button thinned for smoking comfort.
Stem has a Delrin tenon for added strength. Pipe is crafted out of Algerian Briar. The
rustication is stained Autumn Brown with some tonal variation in the
rustication.
Finished with Carnuba wax and the bowl is
pre-carbed for
easier breakin! Pipe cleaner
passes easily.
